| When I completed the “Drive of Your Life” game, I discovered that my personal style profile was: creative, structured and practical. The three careers that match my style are: dancer, professional makeup artist, and fashion designer. From this information I have decided to explore becoming a dancer. I selected this job because I enjoy dancing and take dance classes. One of my daily activities as a dancer would be to train, exercise,and take additionally classes .I also have to maintain top physical fitness. In addition, I have to preform. To work as a dancer, I need to have less than an high school diploma but plenty of on the job training. I must be good at making judgements and have good decision-making and coordination skills in order to become a well trained dancer. In the United States, the average salary for a dancer is $47,390 per year. In the state of Virginia, the average annual salary is $59,020. In the United States by the year 2016 employment for a dancer is expected to increase by 9.5%. In the state of Virginia by the year 2016 it is expected to increase by 32%. I am looking forward to becoming a dancer in the future. |
